450,000 rally in Barcelona for the release of jailed of independence civil leaders

Barcelona's local police numbered in 450,000 the number of people who took to the streets of the city for the release of jailed of independence civil leaders. In fact the demonstration was after the Spanish government announced they would dissolve the Catalonia Regional Government and hold new elections through an Article 155 declaration. But the rally was convoked by the Democracy Table as a protest for the jailing of Jordi Sanchez (Catalan National Assembly President) and Jordi Cuixart (Omnium Cultural). This group was forbidden by Franco's dictator but he never jailed its president. Dictator Rajoy has gone further away than his predecessor. We must remember that the Spanish ruling Popular Party was founded by a Franco's minister, Manuel Fraga.
